Or you can stroll down the streets and enjoy the beautiful Parys and our people. Lots of interesting places to see.

Outside of Parys we have The Dog and Fig Brewery established in 2008 with a vision to be recognised as a microbrewery with a difference, producing unique beers, which, like wine, can be savoured rather than quaffed. Brewing activities include brewing demonstrations, structured beer-tasting evenings and beer pairings.  Located just outside of Parys, in the picturesque Vredefort Dome, where a tranquil setting expresses itself in the beer-brewing process.
Parys History...

Many artists have settled in the town and many new interesting shops, restaurants and attractions make it the ideal breakaway close to Gauteng and big centres. A unique attraction in Parys, the suspension bridge, was built in 1918 to connect Golf Island to the town. The current Town Hall was built in the 1930s in the typical Art Deco Style, after the original town Hall was destroyed by a fire. Parys is in the 5 km buffer zone of the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site

Whether you are here to unwind for a few days or for business, we always strive to exceed your expectations.  We are looking forward to you visiting us soon.
